Asher's first days...

The first week and a half of Asher's life have been quite overwhelming. We are IN LOVE with him, but the adjustment has been incredibly hard on both of us. We are making strides though and are thankful for the little graces the Lord has given us. Please keep us in your prayers as Brent found out today that he has a sinus infection and now has to wear a mask when holding or dealing with Asher. Luckily Asher loves his daddy in spite of the funny mask.

He got to meet his friend Owen last night... maybe their next meeting will be more of a meeting! But we were blessed to have the Saukkola's here!

Poppy was here yesterday and got to hold a very content and sleepy boy!

Our little boy has yet to arrive... we are trying to be patient and wait for him! Pray with us that he arrives before the doctors want to induce him! Thank you.

Our "niece" Paige

This picture was so freaking cute I could not help but post it... this is my cousin Laura's little one on Easter!! She is such a cutie pie. I miss her, it's been way too long since I've seen her. Laura is due with baby #2 in a couple of weeks... I am hoping it's a boy so that Asher, Madsen (Kate's son) and Laura's little boy can grow up together. We shall see!

Easter Winnings...

After watching The Masters yesterday, we held the annual Stromback Easter Bocce Tournament @ my parents house. Even though I am about ready to pop I decided to play with my husband. We made it to the final round against Marcia and Cooper (the reigning champions)...

... and in the end the Zakaryans clinched it!

... also Adam presented us with Starbucks gift cards!

Even though I feel as big as a house these days we won! This made my husband a very happy... he loves to win!

The 12th came and went...

Many of you may know that I was sincerely hoping our little Asher would arrive yesterday on the 12th. But alas, he is still safe and warm inside my belly for a bit longer. :) I was thinking the 12th would be great because we have so many 12th birthdays in our family. But... it is okay. God knows the perfect timing for our little man to arrive and I am okay to wait. We had a wonderful Easter yesterday with family and friends and I am thankful. Pictures to come soon!! -Kim

14 Days

Today, I am officially 38 weeks pregnant! Just two weeks until my due date... but I am SO hoping he comes earlier. We are so ready for our little man to arrive. Come Asher, come!
