Here we go...

Paige Elizabeth Panfilio is ONE!!

PAIGE IS ONE...

We started the morning with Paige's dedication at Laura and Aaron's church - the Well. She LOVED seeing her picture up on the screen.

Then it was time to party. They had yummy food: burgers, dogs, guac, all my favs! Laura did as awesome job as usual!

Then came time for Paige's cake, actually a cupcake. See video below for the singing!

She thoroughly enjoyed every morsel of that cupcake, well... at least every morsel that didn't fall down into the high chair! It was a darn good thing they covered it with a trash bag!

Paige sat in her chair for over an hour eating that cupcake and watching Laura open her gifts. She was SO good and so enjoyed watching all the people and all her gifts. She especially liked this froggy card!

Her final gift was from Aaron's grandma and was truly extraordinary! You really can't even appreciate the grandeur of it in this photo. It was massive!

My mom and I drove up to Fresno the night before and spent the night in a hotel. Then we got to spend most of the day with the Panfi's and their friends. They have such wonderful friends. I am so thankful that we got to be there.

Paige's actual birthday was September 1st!

Marci turns 30 in style...

She sure did! We went to "The Standard" in LA for a night on the town. The hotel has an amazing bar on top that is surrounded by all the other huge buildings in the middle of downtown. It's beautiful up there. There were several bars around the rooftop, a pool, couches and places to louge, a dancefloor... all of it! Marci had the time of her life!

Ashley and the Second Grade

So, my cousin Ashley is one of the funniest people that I know. Her blog updates are some of my favorite things. She just started her new school year with a bunch of new kids and has posted a few of their comments. Please do yourself a favor and read them. And Ash, please keep them coming!
