Going Back... to Asher's actual birthday... 4.21.2010

We wanted Asher to get lots of wear out of his sock monkey shirt so he wore it on his actual birthday! We had a fun day playing at Grammy and Poppy's house, having lunch with Grammy at Ruby's in Irvine, walking around the lake and seeing the ducks, and finally having dinner at Johnny Rockets with Boppo, Aunt Jilly, Uncle Adam, Aunt Dani and Gigi too! He cried when the wait staff sang "Happy Birthday", it was hysterical! He got to try his first bite of sugar with hos own bowl of ice cream AND a brownie! He liked the both but his favorite thing was the spoon, of course!

It was a fun day for Asher... but we all missed Grandma Linda.

Time to play... we broke out Asher's new water table from Gma Linda... he and Cole loved playing in the water.

When we were setting up for the party we found these baby birds nesting in the outdoor couch. They are so so tiny and amazing. We couldn't move the couch onto the lawn the way we'd planned because we didn't want their mother to abandon them.

At the end of the night I got to snuggle with baby Shay. It was a highlight for sure... she is just the sweetest thing!
