So this is wear they started on Saturday morning after Brent spent the entire day on Friday leveling and cleaning it up to be ready for the playset.

The Saukkolas come over for the day so Mark could help the guys. Elizabeth and Owen hung out with me and Asher... what fun!

Owen just turned 2!
He liked playing with Asher (whom he inadvertently called "Finn" many times!).

This was Asher's first time in the pool for the summer... I think he's going to love it!

Boppo joined the crew and spent some time with his little Bean.

They got pretty far with the building and Asher got to try it out on Sunday morning...
I think he loves it already.

11 months of joy...

Ok, so to be totally honest they haven't all been so joyful but this month certainly has! We are loving being parents more and more all the time and as most parents, we think our little man is the BEST!! He is now crawling like a champion, shaking his head as if to say "no" except he doesn't know what he's saying, he eats all kinds of foods, he pulls up on all the furniture and cruises around the room holding onto things, he climbs the stairs ANY time they are within reach, and he opens cabinets and drawers with glee! He has become a champion sleeper and eater ever since we changed his formula and started with feeding him yogurt... and life has been amazing since then. Asher makes us so happy.

Keeping him from eating the sign is virtually impossible these days since he loves putting things in his mouth, especially paper!

He loves sitting in and climbing in and on his chair these days... he makes us laugh! Look at those faces. :)

Happy 11 months Asher Bean... we LOVE you!

The Happiest Place on Earth...

In celebration of Uncle Todd's birthday we went to Disneyland today! Okay, it actually had nothing to do with Todd's birthday and more to do with having a free ticket!! Brent took the day off and we took Asher for the first time... it was a blast!

Brent and I each got to ride Space Mountain while the other waited with Asher... he had a blast climbing around in his stroller and watching all the people!

This was our first time riding the new Space Mountain... fun times!

Then Brent went on the rapids ride at CA Adventure so we waited and watched for him...

Bean passed out on the way home and was happy to make it into his bed at the end of the night. We had such a wonderful day together... Bean's first trip to the happiest place on earth was a roaring success. Can't wait to go back another time!
